Kansas Citian to be marginalized by Don Draper

Just read on Confessions of a Social Media Mamapreneur that Kansas City native Porter Hovey won a contest for a walk-on role in Mad Men, AMC's critically acclaimed period series about the desperate lives of New York City advertising reps in the '60s.

Here's a snippet from the interview with Hovey in which she thanks online stranger voters, who selected her: (Read the whole thing here)

It was support from strangers that I found truly amazing. It's quite a lot to log onto a website every day so some gal you've never heard of can have her 15 minutes.It was utterly cool and humbling to see so many people take the time and be so kind.
Hovey's character probably won't get the same kind of treatment from the misogynistic staff of Sterling Cooper Sterling Cooper Draper and Pryce, but don't hate Don Draper, hate the game.
