that was my father and know one will understand the hurt and pain of a 17 year old girl who doesn't get to see her father anymore until it happens to them. the person who murdered my father didn't think about the fact that he had a daughter and a family that loved him, regardless his flaws but he will be judged by god it's not my place but i forgive you and may god have mercy on your soul.

Dear Pitch: As always, thanks for keeping a running count of KC-area homicides. Not looking good for KCK--38 homicides this year, compared to 25 in all of 2007 and 33 in all of 2008; time for one of those ridiculous and pathetic statements that the city governments always force their local police departments to release at such times: "The homicide rate may be up, but other forms of crime are down sharply in the past two years"--if KCK needs pointers in how to phrase such a press release, consult the KCMO city website--the city government there has forced the KCPD to release a number of such statements in the past two years, Sincerely and Respectfully, Ernest Evans
