Killa City: 1 dead in Raytown

Posted by Justin Kendall on Mon, Dec 7, 2009 at 11:30 AM

No official word from the Raytown police -- I have a call into their public information officer -- but KSHB Channel 41 is reporting that a man was beaten to death and found dead in a driveway in Raytown Monday morning.

Around 8 a.m., officers found the man, described as middle-aged and white, with blunt force head trauma in the 8900 block of 60th Terrace, KSHB reports.

If you know anything about the man's death, call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

This should be the Raytown PD's coup d' Gras! ! ! For years they have adopted a policy of not investigating or pursuing crimes that require real police work. They reduce everything down to 'it's just the accusers word against the accused'. The detective department is run by a clown. Even after the Metro Squad had helped them solve a 4 victim murder case ("there should be an arrest later this week" .. metro squad quote) Raytown left the murderer on the street for 2-3 months before making the arrest. 3 visits to the same address via 911 calls warrants more than what Ms Jenkins received. There are also two recent unsolved Raytown murders out there. Let's get the media and any overseeing agency to investigate this latest tragedy to its fullest - and not like Raytown sees conducting an investigation. Put yourself in the victims position - would you want Raytown PD responding?
