Whoever these thirsty, underage kids are who go undercover for the city's Regulated Industries Division, they are good. Employees at Kennedy's Bar & Grill, in Waldo at 500 West 75th Street, are the latest to fall for their tricks. Because someone sold liquor to a minor, the bar's managing officer and Regulated Industries have agreed that Kennedy's will close for two days as punishment, from January 4 to January 6.
As a condition of the suspension,
the head honcho at Kennedy's has agreed to provide education, training and
instruction to the bar's employees about city ordinances, according to the city's press release.

How many of these kids are going to die because of drunk driving like my sons' best friend right before his highschool graduation. My son was in the truck also, hurt, but not DEAD! GET IT!!
What's a kid got to do to get a drink in this town? In the old days you could sneak in a Kansas tap room for 3.2 beer at 16 and have fun if you were decent to staff and could behave! Great memories of Bill & Betty's on 39th back in mid '70's.
I saw one of them attempt to get served at a bar. The guy seriously looked 30. It was borderline absurd.
The bartender was lucky because he had seen the same guy at another bar.
