Life does go on for the four victims and two sons who know not that they are victims. But the memories and the tender love once entrusted to this 'father/husband' will never be reconciled until he faces what he has done. Three beautiful daughters and a wife, who once adored him, go on, and always feel loss at his memory and once filled hope for his trust and companionship. We, ever pray for him, while standing vigilant against his abuses.

Is this case over?
Possibly so.
Possibly not.
Not unexpectedly, plea-bargaining seemed to be to the advantage of both the accused and the State of Vermont. One positive factor is that the victims do not have to go through the agonies and counter-accusations of a jury trial.
One does wonder about the stipulations and the stringency of their enforcement.

""He misses his family and he needs to go home," she said.
Cool is prohibited from having contact with female minors, except for supervised contact with his 2-month-old daughter. To allow him to come home, his 13-year-old stepdaughter will have to move out of the house."

He and his recently-married wife are willing to oust her 13-year-old daughter because 'he misses his family'.
He is to have 'supervised contact' with his 2-month old daughter - who will be the 'supervisor'? The wife who cares so little for her own daughter as to cause her to live in exile? The sexual misbehavior which Cool admitted having perpetrated in Vermont was also reported to authorities in Missouri - as having continued while the victims were in residence with Cool and his current wife. Did her 'supervision' prevent that from happening?
We wonder at the twisted motivations. Cool said that 'God' told him to perform lewd and lascivious acts. Has 'God' now decreed that a 13-year-old be ejected from her home? Or are these actions motivated by selfish lusts?
Is this case over? Or will the scenario be repeated with new victims? Will the man who repeatedly crossed the lines of the law and morality with his victims, and who defied conditions of his bail have any real respect for the stipulations of his probation?
Thankfully, the criminal is prevented from further contact with the victims. Though emotionally scarred by the perpetrator, they at least can work toward putting the abuse behind them.

Fact check, Sam
Paul J Cool was accepted as a member, AND ordained as a minister, of the LDS [Mormon] Church in VT and in MT, in spite of communications with the Bishops of said Church.
Allegedly, since Mr Cool's arrest, the LDS Church has disfellowshipped him. However, one must wonder why they accepted him, and ordained him, considering that they were provided with evidence that he was 'unworthy' in the first place. It SEEMS that churches are desperate for members...and in the case of the LDS, RLDS, Community of Christ, and others, are eager to 'ordain' ANYONE, so that they can accumulate members.
What a shame...and what a sham!
Danny

Having read the other article, when this one references the "Vermont Mormon Church," what it means is the COmmunity of Christ church in Vermont. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons)had nothing to do with this case. Reporter, please fact-check and follow AP Style Book before printing false information.

This is just more proof that ALL religions are dangerous and need to be banned. It's also proof that Judy Jones is a hysterical troll who needs to go away.

What on earth does it take to keep this dangerous, cunning, manipulative child predator in jail?

He seems to be able to pull every trick he can, and he has succeeded!

Read this interesting article and see what I mean.
