And we're back ...

Remember when "King Pink" Larry Johnson wrote on his Facebook page that he was "Gonna gallop all over the Chiefs. Cleat prints on the chests. Mud in the face masks"? In four carries, he galloped for 11 yards. Yeah, yeah. Johnson's new team, the Cincinnati Bengals, beat the Chiefs, but who didn't see that coming?

The Kansas City Star points out that young kids are hopping off the Chiefs' bandwagon. The Chiefs' propaganda wing is looking out rolling out a Web site and TV show aimed at making kids fans. For real. They hired a guy to hook younger fans. Like kids need to saddled with a loser all their lives.

Also over the weekend ...

Somebody got shot in the leg at 37th and Main.

The lights went out in Lee's Summit for two hours. So Sunday night sucked for 8,800 people.

And we're feeling for the folks stuck on Denver Street.

Glad you survived Snowpocalypse '09. We're all wearing our "I survived

Snowpocalypse '09" T-shirts today (thanks to the thoughtful Chris Packham). ***Snowpocalypse is a registered trademark of Chris Packham Industries.

This is going to be another short week with New Year's. Here's a gift of Death Cab.

That's alright, the Chiefs don't need the kids. The Chiefs are so bad that liking them has become meta. Hipsters across the country will buy tacky 90's style Chiefs memorabilia and wear them on Tuesdays with their favorite pair of skinny jeans. Arrowhead West is looking to put in a store in Williamsburg and Schlitz Gusto is looking into becoming the team's official beer sponsor. Epic!
