Jackson County sheriff's deputies searched the House of Prayer (1706 N. Jennings Road) in Independence Monday night and, according to KMBC channel 9, arrested the church's pastor on "suspicion of federal firearms violations."
The pastor's name has not yet been released, and there's not a lot of info out there. KMBC did report that this raid is connected to "a year-long investigation" and "the search warrant listed computers, records and firearms."
KMBC also referred to the House of Prayer as the "New Covenant House of Prayer." The address of the church also shows up under "New Covenant Faith Center" in Google searches.
A nearby home was also searched, KSHB channel 41 reported.

I apologize I cannot add to it as I've no practical experience with real estate, but can you assist me as you seem to be like a wealth of knowledge. My own room mates and I are looking for a residence to rent. We have resided with each other for 2 years but want to move right away. We looked at a really great place yesterday but we have been told that our credit scores are not very good enough to rent the property out. The realtor offered to personally modify out credit ratings in order to rent the property . I feel like this is going to get me personally into some difficulty in the long haul. return to bite me?
