Royals sign older, cheaper version of Coco Crisp

Royals G.M. Dayton Moore has recruited another undertalented white guy, Scott Podsednik, to make a bunch of outs at the top of the lineup.

The Plog sports desk has a soft spot for ol' Scotty Pods. He was on our fantasy-league team the year that he stole 70 bases. And a purported eyewitness account of Podsednik stealthily applying a buzz indicates that the basepaths are not the only place he shows flashes of brilliance.
