Update: Missing teen Beauty Smith was found walking near Ruskin High School around 9 a.m. Police report that she is in fair condition. They'll interview her to see if a crime has been committed.
Kansas City police are looking for Beauty Smith, who they consider a "missing/endangered juvenile."
Smith, 14, was last seen at a friend's house near 11th and Winchester around 10 p.m. Sunday. Smith lives across the street from the friend's house. When she didn't return home, her parents, fearing for her safety, called the police.
KCTV 5 reported that a text message led Smith's parents to believe the girl was in danger.
Smith is described as a 5-foot-8-inch, 220-pound black female. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater and purple jeans. She has a birth mark on her right cheek.
