More than $225 million in state tax credits and STAR Bonds (I'll let Martin explain those) will get you a Major League Soccer franchise and a few thousand Cerner jobs.

Sounds like a done deal for the Kansas City Wizards to cross the state line and call Wyandotte County home.

WyCo's Unified Government has a super special meeting scheduled for later today to ratify the agreement that will give rise to an 18,000-seat stadium with a born-on-date of 2012 (and some Cerner offices too).

Cerner's reportedly promising 4,000 jobs paying an average of $54,000 by December 2016. We'll hold you to it.

At least KCMO has the phone books to remember them by.
