The three men accused of killing 18-year-old Keighley Ann Alyea will go to trial.
Fox 4 appeared to be the first to deliver the gruesome details of Alyea's killing. Fox 4 reported that the three men beat 18-year-old Alyea, who begged for her life, and then 18-year-old Dustin Hilt allegedly stabbed her in the stomach.
Alyea disappeared in the early hours of September 30, 2009. Her body was found October 5 in a farm field in Cass County, Missouri.
Fox 4 also reported that Gerald Calbeck, 18, and Joseph Mattox, 22, confessed to the killing. The hearing apparently filled in many of the blanks of what happened
that night. Detectives testified that the three men beat Alyea and believed that they had killed her and put her body in the trunk. Alyea reportedly started hitting the
trunk and calling for help.
After hearing the pounding, the men stopped on a gravel
road and asked her if she'd tell on them. She promised not to and
begged them to take her to a hospital. Detectives testified that Hilt
stabbed her in the stomach with a hunting knife and Calbeck kicked her
in the head. Detectives said Alyea had been stabbed a total of 29 times (at
least nine to the chest) and also suffered wounds to her head and neck, according to Fox 4.
As far as the confessions, Fox 4 reports:
Mattox told police that Hilt wanted to hurt Alyea and takeher car, but never mentioned murder as part of the plan. But Calbeck
told investigators it was Mattox who mentioned wanting to kill Alyea
and who first attacked her with a metal jack handle in the back of her
car as they drove her around.
Hilt was reportedly Alyea's ex-boyfriend, and their relationship was allegedly abusive. Hilt and Alyea had each other's names tattooed on their bodies, but Alyea's father had said Hilt's name would be removed before Alyea's funeral.
Hilt, Mattox and Calbeck are charged with first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

I agree with Kendra, who I know was close to both of them as was I. And FoolsGold, She did start changing her life around, thats why she left Dustin. And Abe and Jerry? FUCK YOU! You dont know shit. Everyone makes mistakes and Im sure youve made quite a bit of your own, just because Keighley wasnt a stuck up rich bitch doesnt mean she deserved this. And reality check, the things you say, make you trash so grow up and fuck off.
Okay, so maybe it did start out with different goals and different players having various intentions, but the problem was with the initial acts. Whether later acts about the car, the knife, etc. would have happened is a question that would never have arisen if they hadn't started out hanging with the wrong crowd.
Trailer trash? Maybe. So what. She might have been able to turn her life around if she had been given the chance!

first of all abe i was key and dustins room mate close to a year dustin wasnt all that bad of a kid he had traffic tickets and minor court shit. dustin and key used to fight and even though a lot of times key would push dustin and he would not hit her i dont know how many times he would take off walking in the middle of winter no shoes only a coat and pants to calm down so he wouldnt do anything to her. im not saying he never did but dustin wasnt bad to her when we all lived together. as far as keighley u jerk she wasnt an angel but key felt like noone loved her especially her mom. her mom did give up on her she had another baby and i felt also like she threw key in the trash many nights she cried to me about it. she had her problems but who doesnt? i was on drugs high school drop out but i got my self together went to college etc. same thing key was doing. she nor dustins was trash. joe was trash i think he influnced dustin to meth and do alot of stuff dustin wouldnt do on his own but thats no excuse for what happened i was astonished when i found out. i love them both and i am truly sorry for what happened. dustin does need to sit in jial forever and think about what he did.
Keighly definitely had some issues, but these three JoCo punks are complete human filth. Lock 'em up forever, and then we'll see how gangsta these silly little white boys are.

Not to speak ill of the dead, but Keighley looks like a rough piece of white trash herself. She looks like the kind of person who gets into violent fights with men or women and probably would have ended up in prison by the time she was 21.
