Behold, the blue ribbon muse!
What's better than Pop Art? Beer Art! The makers of Pabst Blue Ribbon, the perennial brew of choice for broke hipsters, are reaching out to their art-inclined customers.
Since October, the company has been accepting submissions for its fourth annual
PB Arts Contest.
The deadline for entry is January 31, so get out those crayons and Photoshop, kiddies! To be eligible in one of the contest's four categories -- 2D, 3D, Photography/Digital Media and Poetry --
submissions must "be constructed of, inspired by or capture the essence of the Pabst brand/logo." Winners in each category will receive $1,893 and (better) a year's worth of PBR. The monetary denomination reflects the year that Pabst earned a blue ribbon.
