Terrell Parker, Killa City homicide 16: Man dies after Sunday morning shooting

The victim of a shooting at 51st and Walrond early Sunday has died from his injuries.

Kansas City police say 24-year-old Terrell Parker has died.

Officers found Parker with life-threatening injuries in the driver's seat of a white Chevy Impala at the intersection.

Witnesses told police that Parker was sitting in his car when he was shot. Several people ran from the scene.



Parker is Kansas City, Missouri's eighth homicide of 2010.

Prayers go out to the family. I cant believe u r gone u will b missed dearly, I hope whoever did this to you gets caught or turn theyselves in. R.I.P love always ur family n laws!

Dear Pitch: Thanks for keeping a running tally of homicides in KCMO. Lots of people want these figures buried--6 at this point in 2009, 8 so far in 2010. The problem of violent crime is not going to go away simply by suppressing the statistics of violence. Sincerely, Respectfully and In Christ, Ernest Evans
