Abe that "feed the needy family" is crap and you know it. There are too many deer because of the sports hunting industry so they kill the deer that tried to find save haven in Shawnee Mission Park now pro-kill advocated tries to put a fake halo over their heads with all that "feed the needy" crap. There are 150 billion pounds of edible food wasted in America every year so if you are so "caring" about the needy then start a food salvage program rather then dumping bodies of the murdered deer. The deer herd are caused by hunting industry.

If Jason takes the body that already been killed why not use it as an example.? I have bought non-animal products from a supermarket that sells meat and dairy what is the difference?

All that talk of "killing deer for meat" or "it's cheaper" is a big fat lie. Hunters would have gotten all the venison and would have "stuff the freezer"by now. Plus have you seen the cost of the accessories to be a "natural" predators of the wild?. OMG the broadheads, tree stand, and all the other doodads they buy is EXPENSIVE.!

@James.
Sure you will. I am surprised that the venison has to be "given" to needy being that all you wildlife serial killers always talk of "yummy venison" I would think the store would be empty of venison by now and how recreational hunters talk of "poor economy" and that being the reason why you kill animals BUT I don't see a single hunter running to get all the Venison.

They "give" to the needy because no one wants to eat it. God knows the diseases like bovine TB, CWD, parasites and pesticide. The deer supposedly been eating their tulips right? The pro-kill advocated claim the deer meat has been "tested" for CWD but how do they know its not lurking in the muscle?. I have heard that Prions are now being found in the muscles of the deer and when they ground up those venison carcass for the pantries to make venison chili or stew it only takes one sick deer to contaminate them all. In time we will see so many human from the pantries that ate the venison from years ago start dying. Death is similar to CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease), Mad Cow and Early Alzheimer.

"I'd rather eat the deer than hit them on the highway!" James

Well because of the hunting industry so busy producing deer for recreational killing of course you be hitting deer. DVA's are the highest during season but here is some example of how the hunting industry is "adding" deer.

"Thus, late fall up to early winter is very important for deer herd managers to impact and influence fawn production, so make sure the plant communities on your property is properly managed deer habitat. " Deer Hunting and Management TX

"Some people disagree with shooting antlerless deer; they reason that protecting them -- thus maintaining a maximum breeding base -- will assure large numbers of antlered bucks because terrific numbers of deer will be born each year and button bucks wouldn't be harvested. "PA. Game Commission

"Historically in all states, including West Virginia, hunting regulation have been restrictive during the period of deer restoration with mainly short buck-only season to protect does and encourage deer population growth" Fundamentals of Deer Management W. VA.

" Fawn crop is often density dependent. Generally, as doe numbers increase, fawn production per doe decreases. Fewer does can and often do raise more fawns to weaning age than more abundant does." QDM

P.129 "With supplemental feeding, it becomes very easy to maitain artificialy high deer densities and still obtain adequate results in terms of antler and body growth." Producing Quality Whitetails Revised Edition
Al Brothers and Murphy E. Ray, Jr. Edited by Charly McTee

" Thus, does are healthier, reproductive
success is higher and more does are able to carry two fawns. Ironically, this can result in a greater deer harvest each year." Quality Deer Management

"With high quality habitat and increased nutrition, the percentage of doe fawns that breed their first fall increases (sometimes up to 25 percent).. Also, a higher percentage of yearling does produce two fawns instead of one." Quality Deer Management

**

The above is the reason why the heavily hunted states always have deer "problems" and high DVA's. Like Anthony DeNicola of the deer "culling" company says "killing deer is like mowing lawn it has to be done year after year" great for those who profit from the pain, suffering and death of an innocent sentient deer who has done no harm to anyone. They only wanted to live as you and I would want to live.

Animal Welfare is NOT Animal Rights. Rights for animals is to live FREE from the enslavement and torture of humans. Hunters are NOT feeding the hungry as the politicians would have you think with Shawnee Mission Park. There are over 10 billion land animals murdered annually in the USA alone...there is pleanty of food however no profit in just giving it to the poor. No hunters need to justify their phychopathic blood lust by saying they are doing good for the community. Jason and Bite Club will NOT go away...so long as animals are being enslaved and tortured for human desire. So instead of blogging against us...try joining us!

More than a little hypocritical of this douche nozzle to protest a butcher for making a living. Miller bought the blood he poured over his head from a butcher. He got the deer head he was carrying around , from a butcher. Now he is protesting a butcher. I'd call him a retard, but that would be offensive to actual retards.

Perfect example of how an animal activist's brain operates. Here is an opportunity to feed needy families and this asshole has a problem with it. Deer are more important than a human's life in his twisted brain.

I wish losers like Jason could understand you can be for animal welfare without being a militant vegan.
