Kansas City Chiefs mascot KC Wolf is the featured speaker at an abstinence-only rally Saturday night in Raymondville, Missouri.
Dan Meers, the sheep inside the wolf skin, is speaking at a youth rally called True Love Waits, and you can pretty much guess what they're all about.
KC Wolf is just in time given that we're in the middle of prime wolf-mating months.
The going rate to have KC Wolf tell your kid to keep it in his pants is anywhere from $150 (a 5 to 10 minute "shock and awe" visit) to $250 (for the birthday party your kid will never forget). Oh, and a school program will cost you $325.
If anyone is used to not scoring, it's KC Wolf.

This is just the sort of stupidity you would expect from the Chiefs organization. Have they ever considered lecturing their own thugs that appear on the playing field? Derek Thomas, anyone? How does KC Wolf respond when kids ask about the whores on his team?

O.K., now back to the reason I logged back on. As I already stated god and I keep discussing the various ramifications of this "educational" program (or programming if you prefer) and I have to wonder... Does the school send out notifications to the parents as to the nature of this assembly? Do they give the parents of their students the option to not have their child attend these assemblies? If not then they are in violation of federal laws!!! The whole thing is truly sickening! That we as parents have to even contemplate these issues before we allow our children to go to a PUBLIC school is simply ridiculous.
To the father of two girls have you read any of the numerous studies done on the downfalls of preaching abstinence to your children??? If you had I would think you would revise your views. Many scientific studies have proven that this whole "Abstinence Movement" has had adverse effect upon our youth. Leading to what many would view as sexual deviancy, increased teen birth rates, and increased teen rape rates just to name a few. Educate your daughters on acting responsibility when it comes to sexual intercourse and all it will do is increase THEIR respect for you and for themselves!

As a father of two girls, I can't really come out AGAINST abstinence before marriage, I just don't want some stinky furry beast delivering the message to them. I've always thought guys who put on those outfits are too creepy to be around young ladies.

Oh My! An NFL official mascot getting paid while in "uniform" to educate our children on abstinent and the sanctity of marriage??? I couldn't have read what I just read! But as I re-read the article I am convinced that I wasn't in a whale's acid induced dream state or somehow had inadvertently fell down Alice's rabbit hole.
This is such a hypocritical thing for the NFL to endorse. And believe you me, they are endorsing it because it is written into a Mascot's contract that he or she MUST get PRIOR CONSENT before engaging in any and all activities while in uniform or out of uniform but using your official title.Ludicrous!
On a completely different subject though I have a real problem with these "Children's Characters" preaching about sexuality and sex. Just as I have a personal issue with "Puff-the- Smokeless-Dragon" an "education" tool used in our communities and schools to encourage children to berate their parents to stop engaging in a completely legal activity. Parents and ONLY parents have the right and the responsibility to educate their child/children on human sexuality and the benefits of consensual sexual intercourse and the consequences of the same. This story is messed-up for a variety of reasons, but one thing that bothered me is that not only does KC Wolf charge schools money for him to do his thing, he charges them his highest rates.
