Scary times in Lawrence where a 42-year-old man allegedly used a hammer to beat a 35-year-old woman in the 1800 block of West 26th Street on Tuesday, the Lawrence Journal-World reported.
The woman and man were both reportedly sent to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police arrested the man on charges of aggravated battery and criminal damage of property, the Journal-World reported.
