Kansas City police have identified the man shot and killed by a police sniper yesterday following a standoff and hostage situation.
Police identified the man as 18-year-old Blake Bowman.
Several news reports gave the same story. Bowman, who police considered a suspect in an armed carjacking from last week, was spotted near 46th Street and Sterling Avenue Thursday. So Bowman ran into his mother's house in the 10900 block of East
51st Street.
A two-hour standoff ensued, and finally ended with Bowman coming out of the house
with a knife to his mother's throat. Bowman refused to drop the knife and a sniper fatally shot him.
Bowman's mother was not injured.

Its idiotic and stupid to say that he wasn't a good person just because he SUPPOSEDLY made a bad choice...You fail to understand that he was SUSPECTED. Hes innocent till proven guilty. There are good people and bad people and this is no different for any human being. This whole world is F'd up and so are the police and government. Theres no justice in killing anyone. No one deserves to be killed no matter what they've done. We we're never made to judge people based on what they did or have done. That's Gods job not ours so we don't have the right.
FYI:
The police used a megaphone to tell Blake they just wanted to talk. Due to the warm feeling and encouraging words of his mom saying "We will get through this together, Just turn yourself in" He gave it up and him and his mom walked to the door holding hands and when she cracked the door the sniper shot him.
Justice means to get what you deserved in other words it can also mean righteousness, and equitableness.
What would happen if God decides to get justice on all of us that have ever done wrong ?

I have only met Blake a couple of times, but he was good friends with my sister. He was somewhat of a trouble maker, but he was always there for her when she needed a friend. I know he was close to his mother because she would call out house and talk to my sister when she needed to get a hold of him. I do not think he would have harmed his mother at all. He just did not know what to do and did not want to go back to jail. I don't think he expected the police to fire on him and it is sad that they felt they had to, I guess it was just procedure???
