Once again, it's the weekend. And once again, there are about a bazillion awesome things to do in the metro over the course of the next three days. Here, we offer a sampling.

Admire the devotion of anime fans
during the annual Naka-Kon convention today through Sunday at the Hyatt Regency at Crown Center. Costumes not required (but strongly encouraged).

It may not be First Friday
, but that's not stopping downtown architecture firm-cum-public art gallery BNIM from hosting an art show. Join Lawrence artist Clare Doveton at a reception for her display of paintings from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight.

For something a little more blood-curdling
, consider the musical Evil Dead (yep, it's based on that movie), which opens tonight on Union Station's H&R Block City Stage.

Get a kick out of the Irish clog-fest
Riverdance during some of the last performances ever, as the tour stops at the Independence Events Center for shows on Saturday and Sunday.

Lend an ear to local musicians, who anonymously share their experiences in the transfixing documentary 72 Musicians, showing at the Screenland Armour Theater on Sunday.
