U.S. Rep. Jerry Moran's name can be added to the list of Republicans to run down the stimulus while also touting its benefits

The Kansas news blog Dome on the Range noticed that Moran issued a press release last September announcing a $72,000 grant for the Atwood Housing Authority. The Department of Housing and Urban Development pulled the grant money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act -- a.k.a. the stimulus.

Last month, a different, grouchier Moran opined via Twitter that the stimulus was a waste and, strangely, a bailout.

Tax cuts made up 35 percent of the stimulus package. Kansas, which Moran hopes to represent in the U.S. Senate, has been awarded $1.6 billion.

Jerry Moran will do/say anything to get elected. At least Tiahrt has always been a conservative and is not trying to pull the wool over our eyes.
