Few details are known, but KMBC Channel 9 is reporting that police are investigating another rape in the Waldo area.
KMBC reports that police responded to a call in the 300 block of East 69th Terrace around 3 a.m. Monday.
The Kansas City Star reports that a 33-year-old woman was raped, and this may have been the work of the "Waldo rapist."
A description of the suspect has not been released.
In the previous
Waldo area rapes, the
suspect was described as a black man with "a deep,
smooth voice" who smelled of smoke and exhaust fumes. He is said to be
about 6-feet tall,
250 pounds, bald with pitted cheeks and possible acne scars. The man
allegedly told one victim that he is 27 years old, although police
believe he is lying about his age. Another victim told police that the
man "had very bad breath."
A pair of rapes
in late January led Kansas City police to believe a serial rapist
may be on the loose.
Police
say a man broke into a home in the 8300 block of Mercier Street and
sexually assaulted a 53-year-old woman after she came home from work
around 9:50 p.m. on Saturday.
Less than two hours later, a man
sexually assaulted a 50-year-old woman
while she was letting her dogs out in the 10 block of East Porte Cimi
Pas, which is less than two miles from the site of the first attack.
Police
believe the same man who committed these rapes is responsible for raping
two women in the Waldo area last fall.

There are some very nasty ppl out in this world.. i dont understand these people. how could someone go into a home and rape a women just to make him feel in control. that is so stupid. they need to go to prision and get rape and see how they like IT!!
