KC police investigating homicide at 24th and Highland

Kansas City police are investigating a homicide after finding a man dead at the intersection of 24th Street and Highland.

Officers were called to the intersection around 11:55 p.m. Sunday, where they found a man, described as a black male and approximately 25 years old, with no signs of life. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released the man's cause of death or his identity yet.

DEar Pitch: Thanks for posting the info on the latest KCMO homicide. Eleven so far this year--one black female, ten young black men. Bloodbath in the black sections of KCMO that began in the spring of 2008 seems to be continuing. Sincerely, Respectfully and In Christ, Ernest Evans
