KC wants to be Google's high-speed broadband guinea pig

Forget about Google, Kansas. We've been there, and it's nothing special.

There's a cool push being made to make Kansas City  the place for Google's one gigabyte, high-speed broadband Internet.

Here's what they're after:


Getting this would be huge for KC. What can you do? The lead group on the push, GoogleKC, wants businesses and city leaders to jump in

and tell Google why they should make KC ground zero. The City Council

already rushed a resolution showing support.
