Sounds like prosecutors in the Mohler family sex abuse case have their work cut out for them. According to an Associated Press story, one of the claims leveled against six Mohler men might sink the whole case: The claim that Burrell Mohler Jr. forced his daughters to help him kill a man.
Six siblings have backed up the claims that they were sexually abused in the 1980s.
However, authorities don't have a body to back up the murder claim or any reports of a missing person that matched the description given by the accusers. And without a body, any defense attorney would exploit the doubt that creeps in on the other allegations.
From the AP:
"It's easier to discredit what victims areFamily members lodged claims of rape, incest and beastiality against Burrell Mohler Sr., his brother, Darrel Mohler, and Burrell Mohler's sons Burrell Mohler Jr., Roland Mohler, David Mohler and Jared Mohler. Numerous rape charges were filed against the men.going to say, given the circumstances, than to prove it," said Thomas
Nolan, a criminal justice professor at Boston University. "If I'm the
prosecutor, I've got my work cut out for me."

If they've been in jail this long, wouldn't it mean they have some good evidence against them? I'm sure thats what all those homemade video's have on them. It may not all be true, like the stabbing of that man, but, they "were" just children, so alot of their memories may be distorted & not to mention what abuse like that can do to a child. Its affects are different on each person.
shouldn't a claim like murder that has no backing discredit most all of this case??? Could this be why the media has been so welcomed in this case? Is this the Jerry Springer show?
I don't believe anything that "the victims" have claimed in this case. It's too bad that "the victims" won't be sent to prison for their false allegations.
