Comb the Crossroads for art. It's First Friday, and so lots of galleries are open late.

Contemplate the movements of modern dancers. Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Collective presents performances tonight and Saturday at the Foundation.

Experience a vicarious adrenaline rush while watching cowboys attempt to log eight seconds on the back of a raging bull. The PBR: Built Ford Tough Series brings professional bull riders to Sprint Center tonight through Sunday.

Take in some movies about Jewish culture. The Jewish Film Festival includes four films, playing at the Jewish Community Center on Saturday and Sunday.

Pick up a new pet. The Overland Park Holiday Inn hosts the Kansas City Reptile Show on Sunday.

Watch the Oscars in style. So what if you don't get to sit next to James Cameron? Put on something fancy and hit one of the watch parties happening around KC on Sunday.

I love bull riding. It's one of the few "man vs. animal" sports where the animal wins a majority of the time.

You've got to be stone crazy to climb on the back of a ton of pissed-off bull and try to ride it. Those guys are nuts.
