Kansas City police say
Blake Bowman was shot and killed by a police sniper while allegedly holding his mother hostage at knife-point on February 18.51st Street when he was fatally shot.
Kansas City police are standing by their original story. Police spokesman Officer Darin Snapp tells The Pitch that the KCPD's investigation revealed the following:"He had a knife and was trying to kill himself but I talked him out of
it. He had put the knife down. We were headed out of the door when
police shot through the window and killed him," she said.
BlakeSnapp added that the KCPD is still hoping to speak with Bowman's mother.was standing inside the glass storm door holding a knife to his
mother's neck when he was shot one time through the glass door. More
than one officer witnessed Blake threatening his mother's life at the
time of the shooting. Blake's mother has yet to give a statement to
detectives.
the time of his death, Bowman was considered a suspect in an armed
carjacking. Officers spotted him near 46th Street and Sterling Avenue,
and Bowman fled to his mother's home. A two-hour standoff ensued and
finally ended with Bowman coming out of the house with a knife to his
mother's throat. Bowman refused to drop the knife, and a sniper fatally
shot him.

Because surely a couple of dozen cops are going to cover up a conspiracy that transpires in broad daylight. Im betting the robbery and battery case he just got probation on along with the carjacking were all part of it as well.
