  • Ex-KCTV-5 investigative Jedi Ash-har Quraishi is headed to Chicago.

Ash-har Quraishi, our favorite slayer of Sith lords and former KCTV 5 investigative journalist, has found a new job.

According to Romenesko, Quraishi is now "a multimedia correspondent and content producer" who will split his time between public TV station WTTW and Chicago News

Cooperative.

Vocalo.org reports that Quraishi will do reporting for Chicago Tonight and the show's Web site, write for CNC's Chicago news pages in the New York Times and teach others how to do video-based reporting.

Sounds like a good move for Quraishi, who is a Chicago native. Still, I miss his investigative reports for KCTV. The scary voice isn't so scary without Quraishi's scoops.

I miss his investigative reports at KCTV5 too...the guy that replaced him...meh, it's just hard to take him seriously.
