Nice Article.. Thanks for share this post..
I think, The sedative effects of benzodiazepines are the first to go — usual doses cease to produce the desired effect within a month of daily use. The patient then has to increase the dose to keep the initial effects, and psychological benzodiazepine addiction starts to develop. If an individual does not stop taking benzodiazepines psychological addiction will be followed by the physical one. After a month or so of regular benzodiazepine intake the addiction is full-blown.

Addiction affects millions worldwide. Prescription drugs and alcohol are
two of the leading substances abused by people who purposely or
inadvertently become addicted. Withdrawal is a period when the body,
which has become accustomed to a substance, adjusts to life without the
substance it is addicted to, be it painkillers, tranquilizers, street
drugs or alcohol.Though painkillers like suboxone and methadone are used for withdrawal
from severe painkiller addiction they are not really comparable to
benzodiazapine withdrawal. The substances are not generally used to
withdraw from similar substances since one is an opiate and the other is
a tranquilizer.

Our penal system needs a major overhaul as it is and these petty drug laws aren't helping matters. The authorities will never be able to keep up with k2 incense and the like as it is ever-changing. Loads of places have k2 herb products that aren't forbidden under any current bans. It is bonkers the money and effort they are putting into these bans when apparently people can still legally buy k2 smoke if they want to!

Oh yes, let me add something. I was done, but then I got to thinking more about this as I am "faked" (instead of getting "baked" off weed, we call it getting "faked" smoking jwh) Anyhow... Why can't the government start protecting us from the -real- dastardly fucks when it comes to drugs... THE PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANIES. Those whores pimp their wares on cable television spouting off about drugs that we have no clue as to what they are even for... I mean, seriously. How many prescription drugs have killed people- well, hell today even. Pain killers in my area, are being abused by SO many people it's just about an epidemic. A girl I know OD'd recently and died from them. I mean- don't get me wrong, you will get in deep shit here if you're caught with a pill and no prescription for it. Each pill is a felony, i do believe, but still- the problem exists on a higher level than just the poor fucks that got hooked on them. :(
Im done now.. for real this time.

Well, let me start off by saying that I agree with most of your positions on this issue here. and @ big Lou- be aware of the potential for jwh addiction. it has been shown to be addictive- however I am uncertain if it is more addictive than weed can potentially be for some people.
I am a frequent jwh-018 user. Serenity Now, and Demon Blend (a SUPER potent blind, typically 3 hits will rock me) from dascents.com are probably my favorite blends. I have heard it through the grape vine - not 100% on if this story is true - but a kid around here (in west virginia) got pulled over with a bowl pack of jwh 018. He had never smoked weed out of this pipe, and he is facing a substance charge because on the package it reads not for human consumption. Now... Can you get into trouble for drinking mouthwash, because it too says not to swallow?? or maybe some Silicone packets anyone?
Perhaps big prison systems and the government profit more off of imprisoning non violent marijuana offenders (and now JWH vendors in Kansas) than the profit margin for just legalizing both substances would be. Meh, just a thought- probably not... But that's all of those fucks up stairs care about... Money.
Alright.. Im done now :)

" Legalize Marijuana Stop Telling Everyone Its a Drug When Its Not "

Its a fine Herb that has many uses including medicinal, Nothing is a gateway to hard drugs. People make there own decisions to do what ever they want. Its just an easy cop out to blame somebody else for your problems. We all know where the hard drugs are coming from, Its coming from the war in Afghanistan. So stop the war. Stop bringing in Opium with our Tax dollars.

Ok lets see how many legal drugs we used today,,, we woke up after taking Ambien the night before which can cause hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. It can also be addictive
Read more: http://www.drugs.com/ambien.ht...

Then we made a cup of Coffee which contains caffeine. Which can cause In humans hyper sensitivity. Caffeine is a central nervous system (CNS) stimulant, having the effect of temporarily warding off drowsiness and restoring alertness. Beverages containing caffeine, such as coffee, tea, soft drinks, and energy drinks, enjoy great popularity. Caffeine is the world's most widely consumed ( PSYCHOACTIVE ) substance, but, unlike many other ( PSYCHOACTIVE ) substances, it is legal and unregulated in nearly all jurisdictions. In North America, 90% of adults consume caffeine daily. Just type in the word caffeine & you will see all of its ill effects.

Then we noticed our head was hurting from the Alcohol we drank last night at the bar , We all know how bad alcohol is,, I can write forever about this ( PSYCHOACTIVE ) substance..
Then we took ibuprofen for our headache which also has ill effects like intestinal bleeding , Ibuprofen can increase your risk of life-threatening heart or circulation problems, including heart attack or stroke. Ibuprofen can increase your risk of getting the chills, increased sensitivity to light, and/or seizure (convulsions) So I would guess you can also call this a ( PSYCHOACTIVE ) substance too. .Read more: http://www.drugs.com/ibuprofen...

Then we went to the store to buy a pack of cigarettes. Once again we all know had bad it is to have nicotine in your body. I can write all day about this ( PSYCHOACTIVE ) substance.

The truth is that these are all legal drugs we take everyday, When Marijuana or Cannabis Sativa is just an Herb that has No history of ever hurting anyone who has ever used it The same goes for these new Marijuana alternatives that has no reports that Ive seen to hurt anyone !

I thank all of you for voicing what you think is right and it seems 90% of people are on the same page. Another population control. Another way to inprison people. Trust me, It is not an accident that the most deadly things for you are legal. Alcohol, Cigs by the hundreds of thousands. If you die using these, thats just one less mouth to feed. people may in some cases have had bad reactions with weed or K2. Like inhaling to hard and getting heart burn. It doesnt kill so therefore the government makes it illegal. Why would the government want you to get better. Its not like weed doesnt help people with cancer or advanced G.I. problems or Glacoma patients( Sarcasim) or k2 is not the main substance they are using to maybe cure altimers or parkinson's dieses. In missouri one of the laws they are trying to pass is to ban all synthetic canabinoids, this way, when they come up with new ones, they won't be able to sell leagally. As for dying on thc, It is possible but you would have to smoke about 3 pounds of high grade in about an hour all by yourself. I don't think the world champ could do half that. And i don't mean smoking it by letting it all go in the air, i mean inhale everybit of it.

I sell K2 in Kansas City, mo at my shop the Coffee Wonk. It is located at 3535 Broadway. It looks that a ban in Misosuri is coming soon though. This is election year fear mongering politics as usual. In the Missouri Senate debate the presenters told our representatives that K2 is really more like meth, and of course our elected officials voted to ban it by and large instead of having those claims independently verified. Our best chance now is calling the office of Governor Jay Nixon @ 573-751-3222 and let them know that this is not a crime and to make this a felony is a total abuse of legislative authority.

You know Kansas banning K2 isn't going to keep potheads from smoking pot. K2 kids from smoking K2. Or alcoholics from drinking and driving. In 2009 Kansas had 387 deaths due to drunk driving. http://www.duiattorneyhome.com...
But it is rather odd that when one googles K2 and k2 related deaths one only gets articles on a mountain hiking accident. I say Kansas lawmakers made it illegal because they really do not feel the need to look into their failing judicial system and see that marijuana and K2 are not the problem.

Rumor has it, Pandora Potpourri is developing a new product that contains none of the chemicals that are illegal in Kansas, so who really cares if they ban K2? I'm sure they're not the only ones... there's money to be made. All this law really did was draw attention to the fact that incense could be smoked. Prior to the media picking it up, there was very little abuse.

These laws are just politicians pandering to the religious right. They are not based on any factual information that the product is harmful.

Why not regulate it, instead of pushing into the hands of drug dealers who really don't care about the public safety. At least store owners could ID, and commercial manufactures could provide warnings against abuse.

The pharmas can sell their products because they are in bed with the government, its OK to sell death as long as you pay your local lawmakers handsomely! Instances like this make me sick of the Americas backward stance on the drug war....

Marijuana use itself is not that bad, it's the marijuana laws that are the problem. If someone chooses to consume marijuana, they should do it responsibly. The first step toward re-education on marijuana is getting people to realize what the current laws are. Depending on which state you are in, you can get jail time and hefty fines for just testing positive for marijuana or possessing a used pipe. Want to know what the marijuana laws are in your state?
