screens for free at 6 p.m. at the Main Branch of the KCK Public Library.

Wednesday
Root for talent and laugh at wannabes.
Wild Bill's Legendary Steakhouse and Saloon hosts American Country Showcase -- American Idol for the twangy set -- on Wednesday nights.

Thursday

Take the afternoon off.
