Kansas City police believe a man was shot and killed while trying to break into another man's apartment at 400 East Armour Boulevard on Sunday.
Police arrived on the scene and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the apartment building's lobby. The man, described as in his twenties, told police that another man had been shot in the doorway of his second floor apartment.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses to be sure of what happened, but their initial belief is the man was shot and killed while trying to break into the man in the lobby's apartment.
