| Roman LeBlanc isn't casting votes anymore |
Legislative records reveal LeBlanc hasn't cast a vote or attended committee meetings. LeBlanc has standing on several committees, including Tax Reform, Infrastructure and Transportation Funding, Health Insurance, and the Joint Interim Committee on Oversight of Federal Stimulus and Stabilization Funds.
Normally, if you stopped doing your job you'd lose it. But absence won't affect LeBlanc's position.
"There isn't anything in statute of the House really that would deal with a member missing votes or not attending meetings," says Trevor Fox, director of the communications office for the House. "The only thing that could happen is if another member filed an ethics complaint against him, but that obviously isn't likely."
LeBlanc did not return calls for this story.
