Foul play is suspected in the shooting death of a clerk at Grovenburg's Retail Liquor Store, 7635 Quivira Road in Shawnee, on Wednesday night.
Multiple reports (here, here, here and here) say the clerk was found shot behind the counter of the store around 10:25 p.m. Police are waiting for autopsy results before releasing the clerk's
cause of death. The Metro Squad has been activated to investigate.
The man's identify has not been released.
