After finding a man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds in the 2900 block of East 21st Street around 1:31 a.m., police discovered a woman's body inside the home.
The woman, who is described as black and possibly in her twenties, is KCMO's 39th homicide victim of 2010. Her cause of death hasn't be revealed. Neither has her identity.
The man was rushed to a local hospital.
