A second man has been charged in the shooting death of Kansas City businessman Michael J. Tutera.
Jackson County prosecutors charged 22-year-old Troy J. Davis with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and burglary, according to The Kansas City Star.
On Friday, prosecutors filed similar charges against 18-year-old Matthew T. Hendrix, a University of Missouri-Kansas City student.
Court records say Tutera called 911 late
Wednesday night and reported catching Hendrix in his house. Tutera
kicked Hendrix out. Tutera told the dispatcher that Hendrix was
"casing the properties" and requested officers check out the area. and reported kicking Matthew Hendrix (pictured) out of his home late Wednesday.

In an interview with detectives, Hendrix said he'd been at
Tutera's
home earlier that night and was told to leave. Hendrix claimed that he
later met up with a group of men -- some with guns -- who planned to rob
Tutera.
Hendrix claimed that he was in the street outside of Tutera's
driveway when
he heard two shots. He fled the scene and met the men at
Loose Park.
