Two victims, a man and a woman, told a Kansas City Police Department detective that they were walking back to their cars, parked at the north end of the Charlie Hooper's parking lot, when White and Valentine approached them from behind and demanded money.
As the man handed over his wallet, one of the robbers hit him in the head with his handgun, then punched and kicked him as he lay on the ground. The woman handed over her purse, cell phone and car keys while also being beaten and kicked.
One of the attackers allegedly attempted to start the woman's car, then yelled, "It's a fucking stick!"

According to the probable cause statement from the KCPD, "Suspect #2Durell
got out of the vehicle because he could not operate a manual
transmission and a safety device exists on the vehicle requiring the
clutch to be fully depressed to engage the motor."

This kid comes from a good family, where his Mother and Father were very present during this ordeal, they are pleasant, well mannerred, and educated. They aren't what you all are making them out to be and it makes me wonder who the ignorant ones are.
And for the rest of you, I had Mr. White on house arrest pending trial and he is a good kid. Didn't deserve what they put him through at all. I'd hire this kid in a heartbeat.
Also, on another note- if you all are so worried about black kids without Fathers robbing you- DO something about it. Be part of the solution, not the problem. Big Brothers Big Sisters is always looking for "Bigs".

Another good example of why fathers ARE important in the home. A few lessons of how to operate the clutch in concert with the stick could have really helped in this situation. Men, step up and stay with your children. They need you.
