Kansas City's right-leaning sports heroes, George Brett and Tom Watson, celebrated Rush Limbaugh's fourth attempt at marriage this past Saturday night.
Limbaugh married Kathryn Rogers, 33, at the Breakers hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. Elton John performed for a reported $1 million, prompting Village Voice columnist Michael Musto to accuse the singer of soaking his toupee in "blood money."
Limbaugh and Brett formed a friendship when Limbaugh worked for the Royals as a lowly promotions man. The two dined together at the Stroud's in south Kansas City before the location closed in 2005.
Limbaugh and Brett share political views as well as Royals memories and a taste for fried food. The Hall of Famer recently stood in a foyer and talked about his support of Republican Congressman Jerry Moran in the U.S. Senate race in Kansas.

Rush, patrician that he is, does NOT think we need health care, and that if it is nationalized, it would "Cost too much".
I am not surprised Rush, who is addicted to Oxy and spent in one year, 250K on illegal drugs he bought from a housekeeper, is not a proponent of less expensive health care.
He after all can afford the best legal or illegal drugs available. I am surprised he didn't do any jail time after calling for the heads of "Hippie Lettuce" smokers to do jail time for 15 years before he got popped.
The concept of medical advice from a hypocritical drug addict who should have a serious felony on his record for aquisition of schedule 3 drugs that thousands are incarcerated for at this very moment seems misguided.
Rush and his ilk are the very best at polarizing and convincing Americans to hate each other for whatever cause de jour he thinks will fatten his pocket book on any given day.
There are reasonable questions and answers for all concerned to find a concensus without mindlessly lining up behind a felonious firebrand inflicting falacies on fools.
Put that in your pipe Rush.

For decades, Rush Limbaugh howled for blood and prison sentences for "hippie lettuce" smokers. He gets nailed, categorically hammered with his hand in the oxy cookie jar, and gets NOTHING!
Ok, lets make sure we get the facts right, Rush Drugbaugh, buys $250,000.00 of a schedule 3 drug, thats right, a quarter of a million dollars worth of oxycotton and does not, I repeat does NOT get indicted.
The hypocrisy is galactic!
Hundreds of thousands of people wasting away in cells at the behest of Rush and his ditto head 5th column of bovine brain dead, holier than thou, self righteous, finger pointing fuck heads, who permeate law enforcement and every segment of society, while our citizens do time for lesser offences.
Rush, Hannity, Coulter, et al, polarize and divide the unwashed masses to fatten their wallets on the backs at the expense of every day Americans.
Rush, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the far right and far left on both sides of the aisle, do harm, and no good work for all of us.
Rush Limbaugh should just now be getting out of prison, with an ankle bracelet on parole.
FYI. I do NOT smoke pot. I probably should, but I just dont like it.
Fuck you Rush.
