A Jackson County jury convicted Deonta R. Taylor of two counts of first-degree murder for killing Drell D.
Fisher and Reginald L. Barnes outside of Independence Avenue strip club Gerry's Silver Slipper, according to The Kansas City Star.
Police found the bodies of Fisher and Barnes, both 33 and from KCK, shot
to death in the
parking lot outside the club on February 6, 2009.
Taylor, 32, was was picked out of a photo lineup and records at Gerry's Silver Slipper showed Taylor's driver's license was used to get into the club at 2:11 a.m. on February 6, the Star reports. Who knew they were so high tech?
Taylor's defense attorney reportedly argued that her client's license
was stolen and eye witnesses weren't trustworthy. Interesting not:
Prosecutors offered no motive for the killings.
Taylor was also
convicted of two counts of armed criminal action.

It's amazing how you claim to be Drell's girlfriend. Unlike yourself I have a real link to Drell I have his first son. And if you truly cared about Drell than you wouldn't be on here or any other site with all this childish bullshit. I feel sorry for all parties involved. Drell & Reggie had kids. So think about that the next time you post. If you were in a real relationship with Drell than the people who were really in his life life like myself or any of his family members would know you. This is not the memory that any of us wish for him to have. And for the family of Deonta I didnt know him or anything about him & even if he did the things his been convicted of The Fisher family holds no ill will toward the young man or his family. God is the only one who can judge. To all the love ones of all 3 young men don't hold hate in your heart. This was tragic event for all involved. There are so many victims from the Feb,6,2009 incident. Time heals all and God has prepared a wonderful place for Drell & Reggie and has recieved them both with open arms. I'm thankful just knowing that Drell is in a better place. And that all 3 of his childern can but the pieces of thier yound lives back together knowing he is looking down on them & watching over them from heaven above. Shay you need to grow up. Drell was not the kind of person who held hate in his heart, so neither should you. Keep the memories you have of him and move on. Lifes to short. I'll leave you with this.
