Kansas City's 15th annual Bloomsday celebration was held last night at Union Station's Irish Museum and Cultural Center. The event commemorates Ulysses, the novel by which all other modern novels are measured. Revelers drank up almost all of the free Boulevard Stout less than two hours into the celebration, then settled in to watch a dramatized reading of author James Joyce's literary triumph of whiskey, sex and experimental prose.
