1. Show your American pride -- by cheering on the United States in its match against Slovenia at 9 a.m. today. For places to watch the futbol action for this game and throughout the series, see our World Cup Soccer Bar Directory.

2. Flip through the files. The 2010 Kansas City Flatfile Exhibition opens at the H&R Block Artspace tonight.

3. Dance a jig. Browne's Irish Market celebrates its 123rd anniversary on Saturday with performances by Irish bands including the Elders, Pogey and Eddie Delahunt.

4. Get to know your feathery neighbors. Lakeside Nature Center celebrates urban birds with an event that's part of a nationwide program on Saturday.

5. Buy local produce. The dog-friendly Rosedale Farmer's Market happens on Sunday at the corner of Rainbow and Southwest Boulevard.
