Comedian Jus Jay, whose real name was Jay Ramone Jackson, died June 18. He was 26.

Jackson died from complications after a kidney transplant, according to this website. The previous night, he'd gotten big laughs onstage when he performed at Ginuwine's Arabian Nights Under the Stars charity event.

A benefit will be held tonight at 8 at Danny's

Big Easy, 1601 East 18th Street.

Jackson's

funeral is scheduled for noon Saturday, June 26, at Memorial Baptist Church, 11424 Hickman Mills Drive, following a visitation that starts at 10 a.m. He will be buried at
XII Gates Memorial Gardens.

Here's a performance from January 2009,

filmed by Terrence Berger and Chris Edwards.

Who in hell assumed erecting a mosque at ground zero appeared to be a good idea? I am not a great fan of either Glen Beck or Sarah Palin then again as compared to Obama and his supremely idiotic administration, this couple are prodigies, come on North america, there's lots of unusual stuff going down. Jay made us laugh through tears and cry while laughing!! This is not a time to be sad because he believed that there is nothing to be sad about when someone goes to heaven. He has joined the comedic ranks in the Lord's Comedy Club. I wish I could be there.

RIP
