If Shannon Young is lucky, her picture won't be splashed across media sites like Debra Lafave or Pamela Rogers Turner or Mary Kay Letourneau-Fauulau or, the latest woman accused of sexing an underage boy, Stephanie Ragusa, who was just sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Young, 36, is charged with three counts of unlawful sexual relations with a 17-year-old male student, identified as GJF, between August 1,
2009, and June 2, 2010. Prosecutors say the sex was consensual (save the 'but she's hot" comments).
Young is a former teacher and volleyball coach at Pleasant Ridge High
School in Easton, Kansas. She was arrested yesterday around 10 a.m. -- without enough warning to pull down her Facebook page. Here's a superficial look at Young's interests and wisdom.
