A double shooting in Raytown Tuesday left Andre M. Bess dead and an 18-year-old man wounded.
The shooting occurred around 10:25 p.m. in the 7100 block of Crisp Avenue.
The teenager was found lying in a yard suffering a "superficial" gunshot
Bess, 40, was reportedly found
dead about 15 minutes later in a home a couple of blocks away in
the 7100 block of Woodson Road.
On Wednesday, the Star
reported that an arrest was made in connection with the shooting
that left Bess dead.
Bess had worked Hope Faith Ministries until
recently changing jobs for better insurance coverage, according to KSHB
