Simon Takwana Angilda is accused of -- whoa! -- raping a 92-year-old woman in the 10300 block of Overbrook Road in Leawood on Tuesday.
Angilda, 21, allegedly forced his way into the woman's home after she answered her door; police say he then demanded money and sexually assaulted her.
The woman was able to call 911 for help while Angilda allegedly rifled
through her purse. The line went dead shortly after she asked for help.
That's when Angilda allegedly began sexually assaulting the woman.
Within
two minutes, officers were on the scene. Police say Angilda tried to
flee and sucker-punched an officer. Sounds like he punched the wrong
officer.
According to Lt. Kevin Cauley, the officer is a former power
lifter and the Leawood PD's "ground fighting instructor," who teaches
the other officers how to fight.
The officer wrangled Angilda
and cuffed him.
Johnson County prosecutors charged Angilda today
with two counts of aggravated
sodomy by force, rape, battery on a law enforcement officer, robbery
and aggravated burglary.
Angilda made his first court appearance
today. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. July 29.

This is Simon's most recent ex girlfriend. I would like my name to remain anon. but I last saw him on June 27th 2010.
