Pitch Flickr Pool member Kevin Carlyle's photo makes me feel so young. It reminds me of summer days that seemed to stretch forever and long, breathless run-on sentences before I understood the importance of punctuation.
Frozen in midair, this bronze boy is a part of the Children's Fountain in North Kansas City, Carlyle says. Though the wispy clouds and bright blue sky scream summer, the photo was actually taken in the fall.
"They
had the fountain off all of last year and so I got inside the fountain
in October and took a photo from right below several of the statues,"
he said.
