Between the time I left for college (2003) and my return (now), the West Bottoms has transformed. While thrill seekers can still get spooked at the Edge of Hell, they can also sip pricey and decadent drinks at R Bar or catch a fashion show with the city's fashionable set.

captured the area's distinctive architecture and industrial past during

the magic hour.
