  • Wild Bill's bull is a little rougher to ride.

Today: Ride a bull. Every Monday, the mechanical beast and Wild Bill's Steakhouse and Saloon will do his best to buck you off at no charge. Take your mind off the bruises with $2 domestic pints and half-price appetizers.

Tuesday:
Bowl a turkey -- or three. For $15, bowl as many games as you want at Lucky Strike Lanes.

Wednesday: Listen to a lady who can spin a fantastic

love story. Audrey Niffenegger, author of The Time Traveler's Wife

and new book Her Fearful Symmetry, will speak at the Plaza Library.

Thursday: Acknowledge how much chicks rock. Lilith Fair takes

over Sandstone Capitol Federal Park at Sandstone for the whole dang

day.
