The Power & Light District was crawling with wannabe models Monday during an open casting call for the 16th cycle of The CW's long-running reality series America's Next Top Model.

I headed over to shoot the scene, which proved to a lot of pretty women sitting around waiting. And some getting their haircut.

Casting for America's Next Top Model drew a large crowd of hopefuls to the Power & Light District, including people with roving eyes. And cameras.

Kellen Overton, 21, was no rookie getting her hair done. She said she's been modeling since she was 6.

While waiting for their groups to be called to audition, contestants got to see demonstrations of trendy hair and makeup styles.

I bet someone from the P&L casting call wins. There isn't a better place in America where girls aged 21-26 that live off their daddy's credit cards, congregate to talk about how they work at a salon and/or bar and have the free time to focus completely on their physical appearance (in between cranberry vodkas of course).
