Tonight: Unfortunately, the imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus only exists in Heath Ledger's last movie. But artist Anson the Ornery's synaklavier might be the closest you can get in real life, which is supposed to induce feelings of synesthesia. That means you might get to hear purple during his presentation at Wonder Fair: Art Gallery and How in Lawrence.

Tuesday:
Get the inside story on that whole social media thing. Author David Kirkpatrick discusses his book The Facebook Effect at the Kansas City, Missouri, Central Library.

Wednesday: Eat a corn dog! At the fair! The 147th Annual Platte County Fair promises such

delectable dining fare and so much more.

Thursday: Sing along. This version doesn't star Jennifer

Hudson, but a production of Dreamgirls

is happening at Starlight

Theatre.
