Autopsies on two bodies found in a Merriam apartment Thursday morning have led the coroner to rule the deaths a murder-suicide.

Police suspect Erik Snow of fatally shooting Lesa Baumgardner and then turning the gun on himself. Both were 35.

A co-worker became worried when Snow didn't show up for work, went to check on him at the Georgetown Apartments in the 7300 block of Eby Drive and discovered the bodies.

I am Lesas sister. Yes her biological sister. I am appalled at some of the comments here. First of all step sibliings sould not be commenting and second If this killer had a child I would be concerned about its mental faculties.

Sarah Tanner: You stated that you had dated Erik Snow at one time and that he was
having a problem with "hating the World" etc.
Do you recall the years you dated him???
From what I have read, there is a very different opinion from several readers and writers.
I have also heard he may have had medication for a mental disorder. Are you or were you aware of this possibility???
It this were so, it makes it easier to understand some of his darkness and some of his days of being happy and productive.
It still is a time of sadness that this tragic end came for two people.

I have just read all the diffent comments, about either Erik or Lesa. I did not know either of them but I have a friend who has a grandaughter and the granddaughter has a child that is possibly Erik's child. I have
searched for obituaries for both Erik and
Lesa wondering about their families. Some of you said you had dated Erik, or were frieds with him, some knew Lesa and I see she did have a step sister. My sympathy to all of you who are sharing this loss of two young people. I was hoping to find obituaries for either of them, to know
if they had families and or children who
are without a parent. I would certainly appreciate hearing what any of you would like to share about either Erik or Lesa.
Thank you,

This is so disturbing to me. Erik and I were together for about three years. That was the apartment I lived with him in. I always knew he was a volitile guy; he was so angry and upset with the world. I guess I never realized...how off he was. I do remember, when our relationship was coming to an end, and he was so upset, wondering if he could or would go to the closet and get out that gun. It was just a brief thought, because you never really expect the person sharing your bed to be a killer.

I never knew Lesa, but I'm sure she was a very kind person who did not deserve this.

I used to hang out with Erik a lot before he met Lesa. I stayed at his place--the same place this happened--many, many times. I cannot believe that he was capable of doing something so henious and vile! He was a nice guy, funny, and vivacious and when he met Lesa, they fell in love quickly. What went wrong?? I fell out of contact with them in the past couple of years, but I remember them hanging out at the Vampirate Prom at Davey's, totally in love.

This is super saddening and my hearts go out to both families. I really hope that they get closure and some sort of explination as to why on earth this happened!

Lesa was my cousin more like a sister. We are all in shock and will always wonder why this had to happen. Lesa was a kind loving person.

Erik was a kind and caring person. I am still stunned and in disbelief that this could happen. He was not a violent person at all. I didn't know Lesa very well. I am sorry that this had to happen. It is indeed a tragedy. My hearts go out to the rest of their friends and families.
