This is going to help Mayor Mark Funkhouser's case for hiring 100 patrol officers and upgrading the KCPD's resources. A man was shot to death in the parking lot of a northeast Kansas City apartment complex near Lexington and Garfield around 2 a.m., the Star reports.

Police are looking for a dark colored Sedan. Not a lot of information out yet. The victim's name hasn't been released. He's described as a black male in his mid twenties. But if you know something, you should call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.

Funk is presenting a public safety sales tax plan -- including new

police stations in the northland and on the east side -- to the City

Council's public safety committee around 10 a.m. at City Hall. The

current sales tax expires next June.

Another homicide -- the city's 63rd -- isn't hurting his case.

its scientific fact that more officers do not equal safer hoods. It was proven in a study done in KANSAS CITY!! Good God. He should know this. They teach this in college!

I say let them keep killing themselves. Another 100 years or so the problem should fix itself. Hooray for Darwinism!

Let's see: Take more money from the people to spend on putting more people in prison so we can then raise more taxes to pay for the overcrowded prisons. Hooray problem solved.

Fuck schools or community programs to try and persuade the next generation from doing the same bullshit as their dead brothers, fathers, etc, let's just get more police.
