Todd Tiahrt's campaign promises immortality to citizens, end to Jerry Moran's reign of death and terror

Has anybody been following Todd Tiahrt's campaign videos? Because it's important to know the fundamental differences between Tiahrt and opponent Jerry Moran before you vote in tomorrow's primary.

Moran wants to steal your newborn, give it to terrorists, and pay them in health care to raise the baby to hate assault rifles. Tiahrt had all of his blood replaced with the tears of 9/11 widows and now has superpowers.

Tiahrt's new powers gave him dominion over time, space, and the secret chambers of the human heart. Yet, as a humble man, he was afraid that using them for his own gain would lead to evil. He needed a guide.

When Kelsey Smith was killed, Tiahrt knew he'd found his answer. He tattooed Smith's face onto his chest. At night, alone in his study, the portrait would whisper to him, guiding him from the spirit world.

This video tells us an abbreviated version of Tiahrt's action. "Todd

Tiahrt fought to make sure this tragedy would never happen again to any

Kansas family," the narrator tells us. "But Jerry Moran was a different

story."

It's all true. Todd Tiahrt was going to pass legislation using his powers to change the laws of the universe, thereby making it impossible to ever kill anyone. Well, not everyone. Just American citizens who believed in the Bill of Rights and are natural born citizens. If you really believed it, Tiahrt's legislation would've made it so bullets would bounce off you and knives would bend against your skin. But Jerry Moran loves murder and wants everyone to be murdered, over and over again, and his actions are responsible for you being mortal and for the existence of evil. Tiahrt is strongly pro-immortality and anti-evil. Now if you vote for Jerry Moran it's the same as voting for kidnapping and murder.  If you criticize this message, the sound travels beneath Tiahrt's sensible suit and into Smith's waiting ears. The tattoo knows that it's not campaigning on tragedies you disagree with, but an end to murder and capitalism.

Somehow, even though this video and others have been running for weeks, Moran is still ahead in the race. According to recent polls, Tiahrt is gaining ground, but trailing 10 percent behind Moran. When the sun sets Tiahrt goes to his study and removes his shirt and sits watching the face of Kelsey Smith in a mirror. For every voter who punches the ticket for Moran, one salty tear trickles from Smith's eye down his pasty torso. It's as if some of you believe Tiahrt's honest documentaries are actually grossly cynical films calculated to appeal to the weakest parts of your lizard brain. You people make us sick.

Great.

This is truly a "lesser of two evils" campaign.

Despite what the ads would have you believe, their voting record is virtually identical. Moran only seems palatable when compared to this raging asshole.

It frustrates me that Kansans respond to "I supported the Bush tax cuts" (which should no longer be valid political capital for anyone who can do math) and "Immigration BARRRARRR DERP" (which should be pretty far down the list of issues to give a shit about right now...and in Kansas of all places).

At least I think that's what they respond to, since that's all the ads seem to yammer about.

Great satirical piece, by the way.

I saw a list of the 10 most corrupt politicians in America. Republicans and Dems alike were on the list, practically splitting the "award" straight down the middle. TODD TIARHT was on that list. There was one group of people mentioned for some shady acts involving money, and he was one of the people in that group. He will not get my vote. I also happen to believe that Moran is spineless and doesn't necessarily represent Kansas well......but there's no way in hell I'm voting for Tiarht!!

This is a pretty funny article.

God, I would hate to be a politician.

WTF...I guess at some point you gotta believe your Mr. Smith headed East with some homespun bullshit you actually really believe in.

No more fructose in cereal, ever!

Whitewalls for all American cars!!

Fuck I don't know---then, jeeeze, you realize you have to be all fucking things to at least 51% of the people, and your fucked.

eg. Your buddies find out you blow one fucking trucker, one lousy trucker---you could cure fucking cancer, but OH NO!!!, one fucking trucker and your not the guy who cured cancer, your a fag (Apologies to my gay friends, poetic liscense).

Same thing with politicians, one time, once in their fucking life---"Hey, those brown guys arn't so bad, and they really work hard."

You could win the war in IRAQ and Afghoulistan in the same week---nah!!!, your blew a trucker, er,...said you liked Mexicans.

Every day, right after they say, "Pass the toast."---Thats it!!! from there on out, they gotta lie, lie, lie, lie and worst of all, lie to themselves.

If I can bullshit my way through this, fake a little sicerity here and there, then I will be able to enact the really important legislation that will save us all. I decided! Yeah, I'm a decider.

Shit job, at any level.

Some Jerry Moran endorsements:
U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK)
Jerry Moran is a man of his word a man of character and integrity. Jerry has been a great ally in the fight against wasteful spending and earmarks. His election to the U.S. Senate would be a tremendous benefit to those of us fighting against the bailouts and irresponsible spending in Washington, D.C. I give him my strongest endorsement for the U.S. Senate.

U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC)
As hes proven in Congress, Jerry will not buckle to the pressures of Washington, D.C., but instead stand up and fight against wasteful bailouts, reckless spending, and illegal immigration. I fully trust that Jerry will stand with me against the irresponsible policies that endanger our great nations freedom.

Today, leading Kansas conservative State Representative Joe Patton, District 54, endorsed Congressman Jerry Moran in his bid to become Kansas next U.S. Senator. Representing Shawnee County, Rep. Patton has long been a champion of fiscal responsibility, Kansas family values, and Kansas business community.

With spending out of control, it is essential we have someone willing to stand up for Kansas against the growth of government and that is why I am proud to endorse Jerry Moran, said State Rep. Patton. Jerry has the integrity and leadership necessary to lead Kansas in the U.S. Senate fighting for families and fiscal responsibility.

Vote Jerry Moran.

Like many Washington politicians, Todd Tiahrt has a long history of keeping things hidden when he runs for office. From keeping earmarks hidden from the public, to hiding his longstanding support for controversial immigration policies, (to hiding his relationship with the now-defunct PMA group from the Office of Congressional Ethics,) to hiding his support for more Washington government spending, Tiahrt has kept Kansans in the dark about much of his record since living in Washington.

FACT #1: Tiahrt supported amnesty and lower in-state tuition benefits for illegal immigrants. (H.R. 1918, Student Adjustment Act of 2001, Cosponsor, October 9 2003; H.R. 1684, Student Adjustment Act of 2003, Cosponsor April 9 2003)

[GOP candidate Kris] Kobachs immigration views run contrary to some in his own party, including Sen. Sam Brownback, R-Kan., and Rep. Todd Tiahrt, R-Goddard. Both Brownback and Tiahrt support the Dream Act, which would repeal a federal law discouraging states from offering in-state tuition and other benefits to undocumented immigrants. (Kobach Cites Huge Gaps In U.S. Immigration Law, Wichita Eagle, July 20 2004)

Its disappointing to see Todd Tiahrt run from his Washington record of increasing spending and opposing greater transparency, said Communications Director Dan Conston. He can try to keep Kansans in the dark, but they know he is just another politician gone Washington.

That is funny. Tiahrt is no good. He lies about his record and embellishes himself to be so great, but he isn't. Jerry Moran is the right person for Kansas.
